40k

Well, I've hit 40k words on The Last Book of Baghdad. It's been slow going; this is the toughest book I've ever tried to write. It's told out of order and from multiple perspectives, which is refreshing, and there's a lot more characters than Falcons on the Floor. To make it worse, I have this reoccurring urge to start another project that is both more elaborate and probably way more fun. I might have to dedicate an entire room of my house to outlining the damn thing -- maybe just 200 square feet will do.
