Weekend Report

Finished Baghdad Bound – need more books by Iraqi interpreters, but they’re few and far between, the Network of Arab American Professionals (NAAP) in Baltimore invited me to their Iftar dinner, super honored to be there, of course one of them works at Social Security, met up with Adam, bought some xBox recharger thing that doesn’t look like it’s going to be that great, good Pennsylvanian IPA, went over Jamie and Mag’s house, Hawaiian chips, Truman used to suck, but now he doesn’t suck, not really nubuck, hey there Maryface, quick drink at The Diz, grab the pared wine, invited to the last (of a two year run) of Sometimes Dining (http://sometimesdining.com/), sat next to a cute couple and their two kids, off to The Compound, a little dog that looks like a little hyena, massive renovations, holy crap these showers are like racial sex caves, talking with Gary K about the BMA Baker awards show: 1,500 square feet of drawing? screw this cough, off to Eggspecation, who was that guy that said hi to me? that truck dumped all over the road, storms and movies and wine and cemetery walks and palak paneer, how the heck are you so good at driving the stage coach on Red Dead Redemption?
