Bolt Bus with Adam Robinson, playing "Gun Bros" way too long, The Center for Fiction – Blake Butler’s book release party for There is No Year, The Center for Fiction is like the West Wing for words, old friends from high school and college , I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time, Harper Perennial’s hotel room for Blake, yeast vs. cake doughnuts, sleeping on a couch in Williamsburg, creakiest floors I’ve ever heard, met Ken Baumann’s fiancée, dinner at One World with the crew, reading at Stephanie Barber’s house, Mathias and Sommer are hysterical and lovely and amazing, Steph’s one eyed cat – I love him, made a bet with Angela Horner, lost Ale somewhere along the way, found Shaun Preston and his band and we drank a lot of whiskey, Shaun’s spirit animal, brunch at Jamie’s house, Chris Mason’s release reading/show/party, Bob needs a chapbook (I credit Jamie), the Tinklers are magical, Chris reading with Dan Carney, Microkingdom wow'd everyone, everything is perfect, dinner at Brewer’s Art, Ryan Walker gets a flat, I sleep for 10 hours, I look at the new house at 3pm.
