Flechettes used in Fallujah

From a U.S. Army, National Ground Intel. Center memo titled: Complex Environments: Battle of Fallujah, April 2004. I think Army Intel. took the memorandum off the net; I can't find the link I saved my PDF from.
A flechette is a pointed steel projectile, with a vaned tail for stable flight. The name comes from French fléchette, ‘little arrow’ or ‘dart’, and sometimes retains the acute accent in English.
