Over the holiday, my dad gifted me a package of photographs taken by my Grandfather between 1941 and 1944. Some were snapped in Hawaii before he took off for Japan. More info on the 11th Wing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/11th_Wing

Yeah, apparently my closed minded aunt went all bananas when I posted this -- a part of my Grandfather's amazing past. I get a few hits a month from people searching about the 11th Wing from WWII, and it's nice to know people still care.
