Search Words (lame excuse for a Flarf post)

The most offensive search words that lead someone to this blog (to date). Sorry to disappoint you, no grannies here. I also like grandma's as possessive. I wonder what she'd have... or have going on:

cocksucking grandma's power steering motor needs repair.
cocksucking grandma's slippers are missing again.
cocksucking grandma's terrier acted up at the dog groomer.

Biography for MLKNG SCKLS

Haneen Alshujairy fled Iraq in 2003 with her family, leaving behind extended family in both Fallujah and Baghdad. After seeking asylum in Jordan for three years, she relocated to Egypt where she is finishing a degree in Dentistry at the Modern Sciences and Arts University in Cairo. Haneen has collaborated with Justin Sirois for the past year on the novel Falcons on the Floor and this collection of stories, MLKNG SCKLS.

I probably should have posted something like this sooner, but wasn't exactly sure how to go about it.

from Slate:

"There's been a lot of talk about Twitter recently, which is a shame because my biggest hope for Twitter had been that it would spark a brevity movement."

hhrrmm...

If you string a series of clichés together in an innovative way, do you still ultimately end up stating something cliché?

intro for Ryan Schneider

A great gallery in LA is publishing a book of Ryan's paintings and he asked me to write something it. Here's just a sample:
.
after Ryan Schneider’s Hideout

Elbow to elbow he arrived with him like they all arrived with them – besieged by Pabst through the naked birch, by the way or by defogged Celica. He’d come. The snows came too. Books fluttered from branches, stamping slender declarations in the snow. Nightstands and empty wine bottles marked the trail. They marched together through the icy underbrush. It was like marching through stale cake icing. He thought, there’re boots designed specifically for walking through cake icing, but I don’t own a pair.
Shit.

Wii Fit (for bros)

Assuming this game isn't terrible, I think I just discovered the best way to keep that stubborn winter bodyweight from accumulating. When will developers sync up a treadmill to a fast paced first-person shooter? I guess what I really want is a 10x10 foot trackball embedded in my living room floor -- I can justify eliminating the basement for that, right?

I overheard some Hollywood Video employees talking about this old horror movie last night. Of course I typed the title down in my phone to remind myself to look it up this morning. I'm assuming the cover is better than the film itself.

Publishing Genius

I failed to mention that Adam Robinson ripped the Secondary Sound blog banner for his own and then I failed to mention that Publishing Genius is publishing MLKNG SCKLS because it wasn't 100% in the bag yet.
